Let’s face it, no nurse is perfect at his or her job. Every nurse has weaknesses and areas that simply aren’t their strong suit, and that includes you. Being honest about your weaknesses is not only okay, it’s a good thing! It means that you recognize that there are places where you can grow and improve in your career. Nursing is a dynamic field, and whether you’re an RN nurse manager or just starting out, there are always more things to learn and more skills to obtain. By not acting like you already know it all, you can demonstrate to your coworkers and supervisors that you’re always willing to improve and open to change.
