Teamwork is a key element to a well running workplace, and the healthcare field is no exception. In many facilities, it is teamwork that keeps everything running as smoothly as possible. To encourage coworkers to come together and assist one another, a brief daily meeting can be helpful.
Gather the team around at the start of a shift to discuss any issues or concerns. Look for ways that you can help your fellow nurses on the floor. Let your co-workers know that you’re always willing to lend a hand when they need you, so long as you aren’t busy with one of your patients. Helping one another out, especially during busy shifts can make the workplace much more enjoyable.
