Working the night shift as a nurse isn’t something that everyone enjoys or is even cut out for. The night shift can be long and draining. While some nights will be calmer than others, there’s always a lot of work to be done. It can be especially tough when working with limited staff. One of the keys is to work together as a team. Since there is likely to be fewer nurses on the floor in the late night and early morning hours, take the time to help each other out and check in on each other. It will make the shift run more smoothly and help the time pass a little quicker.
