Nursing isn’t an easy job, but a supportive workplace can make all the difference.
The ideal work environment for nurses is one in which there is enough staff on duty to assist all of the patients and meet their needs quickly. Nurses need to be able to support one another, as well.
There has to be a supportive structure in place, with supervisors and managers who understand the demands of the job and are able to provide flexibility and comfort.
Finally, safety is a key concern for nurses, so the workplace must take their safety seriously and make it a priority.
