Nurses have a familiar uniform, but scrubs today come in many different colors and styles. You can quickly end up spending a lot on your work uniforms if you aren’t careful. Nursing scrubs can get costly, especially if you don’t take care of them properly. One of the best ways to save on scrubs is by carefully cleaning the ones that you already own. Treat stains promptly, allowing them to soak to remove tough stains like bodily fluids. Hold on to your old scrubs, even if a new job requires a different color or style. You just might be able to use those old pairs again in the future or pass them on to a fellow nurse.
